We currently subscribe to the Koala Crate, so I can speak more about that one. It has up to three projects and comes with an illustrated story. Our daughter still plays with the crafts that she has made from past boxes. I love how some of the crafts are interconnected like the farm animal one had you make a cardboard barn and it stored the animal finger puppets and vegetable garden.

4. Toca Life Box

Toca Life Box is a subscription box for kids that contains projects that inspire a kid's imagination. Each box contains a new game or activity to do and rare items to collect. It's a great box for encouraging imaginative play.

Best suited for ages 6 to 11, but can be enjoyed at any age.

Our daughter is almost five and we received the board game box. She required some assistance but still enjoyed playing and making her own board game. The game it comes with was hilarious and as adults, we enjoyed it too. She then got to make her own board game.

Price:

$19 a month or get 12 months of boxes for $180 ($15 a month)

Shipping:

Toca Life Box only ships to the continental US and cost $4 per box
